Christopher van der Lugt

Christopher is an internationally experienced, cross-functional growth strategy professional with a robust understanding of brand strategy, corporate communication and creative campaign development. He boasts broad international business experience after having lived, and worked in Switzerland and Luxembourg for twelve years.

A collection of brands that Christopher has worked on over the course of his professional maketing career.


Chris graduated from Bates College, with a degree in Political Economics and Early European History.  During his time at Bates College, he researched and wrote his thesis on the lingering economic, security and political impacts of Iran's reconceptualization of its constitution between 1979 and 1989.  

Five years later, after working in Boston and Washington DC as a management consultant, he decided to attend business school and received his MS/MBA from Northeastern University.

While in business school Chris pursued a focus in marketing and entrepreneurship working with his team to build a successful proof-of-concept business and patenting it.  During this time Chris was a founding graduate member of IDEA, Northeastern University’s Venture Accelerator.  As a member of IDEA, Christopher coached individuals and teams with new businesses and product ideas, providing guidance and direction in order to secure funding.

Currently, Chris resides in Seattle, WA and works for POP, a digital advertising agency.
